Translation requires highly professional knowledge. Translation is sometimes more difficult than writing original or composing. The reason is that to become a translator, the translator must not only have a thorough grasp of foreign language, but also have extensive cultural knowledge and personal fineness, and must be proficient in his/her native language.
The interpreter must not only be good at foreign language but also have general knowledge, cultural background, interpretation technique, sensitivity and ethics. In addition, the interpreter must master a number of necessary terms related to business, conferences, seminars, technique and specialty.
